Pedros Vise Whip Tool - Bike Tool Review

Pedros has introduced a new bike shop tool to take the place of the venerable chain whip - it's the Vise Whip, a device with which you can grip a bike's cassette as you would with pliers in order to "crack" off the cassette.

The jaws of Pedros Vise Whip have pins which lock onto the cog teeth. The fit is so tight that you can lift the whole bike wheel right into the air, handy when installing the cassette lockring.

The new Vise Whip should be compatible with almost all cassettes and cogsets, from Shimano to Campagnolo to SRAM. Pricing has yet to be set.
