Garmin International, team sponsor for the Garmin-Chipotle bike squad, will add a new bike computer to their lineup for this Fall. It is a special version of their top version Edge 705 which will be adorned in the team's orange and blue colors.

The Edge 705 combines GPS navigation with other key bike-specific features. It is a handlebar-mounted bike unit that includes the following functions: speed, distance, cadence, altitude, and heart rate. There is a power measurement option add-on kit to gauge wattage output and power generation.

The special version of the Edge 705 can be seen on the Garmin web site, where the regular model retails for $499.99. The announcement for the new Team Garmin edition of the Edge 705 was made at the Intrabike show going on currently in Las Vegas, Nevada.
