)last week and they spoke to a tech rep and warranty adviser from Answer Manitou and we were told that it could be the internal o-ring seal (per Answer Manitou rep ). They might as well have left away the lockout, They haven't seen the need to use it yet. Im sure everyone has a section they use to tell how fast they are going or how good their ride is set up. but this was quite dissapointing. 2005 Answer Manitou Splice Super Suspension Shock Fork -- The Splice Super is perfect for your long-travel mountain bike. As They understand it though, SPV (Stable Platform Damping) is like a snap valve, which is like an inertial valve (?) which only allows fluid to travel when bumps come from below (terrain) and not above (pedal bob). They'm keeping my hopes high because They have read good reviews with this fork. 6 lbs Travel: 100mm Damping: TPC Lockout Adjustments: Rebound, Compression, Lockout Lubrication: Grease Spring: Air Casting: Magnesium RA Stanchions: 30mm Black Nitride Cromo Steerer: 1 1/8" 7050 Aluminum Crown: Wing-Shaped Aluminum with Cathedral Arch Axle: Standard QR Ride Height (axle to race): 475 to 505mm.
