They haven't experienced any of the other rider's complaints regarding this shoe's reliability. They race road and mountain bikes with the same shoe and they rock. i knew i should've got the sidi's but the salesguy pretty much talked me out of em and really pushed these shoes dammit. The stiffness of the carbon sole is no joke, and the toe spikes are very usefull in foot climbs where you need traction. They are very stiff, but they feel great. These shoes are race ready and very adjustable. Five Red hot rockets!. Overall, They am very pleased :) Only for flamin; chilis, because the stock insole sucks!.
