Hed 3 Wheelset |
More product description:
My best guess is that each wheel may be faster than the other in different conditions but the differences are probably not worth obsessing about for very long. Here are the basic categories or types of wheels (with a few examples of each) you should be considering when in the market (these are just examples and tend to be the wheels that They, personally, would consider using but in not is meant to be an exhaustive list or suggest one wheel is better than another (awe, who am They kidding? They think Hed wheels are the best and anyone who Ive ever coached knows it ;-) ):. But the Specialized wheel was always right with it, neck and neck. We've never seen a test, never seen a wheel, that equals a disc. We suspect that all things being equal, if you want a proven aero wheel and you're just not sure, the Hed3 is the well-reasoned selection. Hubs are wheel-specific, two sealed bearings on the front wheel, one sealed cartridge on the rear non-drive side and loose ball-bearings on the drive side. Because there are no secondary bonding processes, the H3s are supremely strong. They once held a front Stinger that weighed less than 400 grams.
