More product description: Tubulars are less prone to pinch flats than clinchers, since the rims don't present the sharp edges of the clincher flanges. Match the location of the leak in the tube with its sister location on the tire. If you do remove the tube, make sure to mark on the tire where the valve was, so you can find the corresponding place on the tire to check for the thorn/pin after you find the hole in the tire. "Traction" refers to the tire's resistance to skidding/slipping. If there's any air left in the tube, release it by pressing on the valve.
