The bike is a 2008, it was a left over. I just picked it up in late August and only had it on trails 3 times. I just got a new job and will now not have the time to ride. Pretty firm on the price as it is brand new and in amazing condition. Just to compare, the King Kahuna is the only 29er that Kona makes with a scandium butted frame and the MRSP on it is $2799, so this bike is a diamond in the rough. Also, the bike can be converted to single speed if you might be interested in doing that.

This is a brand new 2003 Santa Cruz Blur Classic frame with a 5th Element Air rear shock, Anodized Steel Blue color. There is a slight bit of discolorization on the down-tube just below water bottle mount where I removed a bike shop sticker. Other than that, the frame is flawless and the threads on the bottom bracket shell are clean and straight. I bought this from a seller who advertised the frame as a small. Unfortunately after providing the frame serial number to Santa Cruz, they confirmed it is a medium frame; it’s just too big for me. Here are the specs on the frame provided by Santa Cruz:

According to Santa Cruz, this classic model frame was made from 2003 to 2005. The best price I have seen for a new frame like this is 2005 model through Cambria Bicycle Outfitters for $1,199.95. I am asking $900.00 firm. Please do not ask me if I will accept a lower price. I am willing to deliver it anywhere between the Bay Area and Sacramento/Roseville/Folsom. I will be in traveling to Lake Tahoe in September and could deliver there as well.
