For Sale is my 2004 Trek 5200, 58 cm road bike that has always been ridden in dry weather, always garaged, ridden by adult and never wrecked or laid down. I bought this bike brand new in July 2004 from my LBS. I recently purchased another trek that fits me better so I am letting this one go for someone else to enjoy. MSRP for the bike and flight deck computer installed and wired to the grips was $2925 THIS BIKE IS IN PRISTINE / MINT CONDITION. Ready to ride This bike will be professionally boxed by my LBS before being shipped. Buyer will pay $100.00 shipping cost for U.P.S. Ground to continental US. Selling Price is only $1450.00 This unit is stock Trek 5200 which has performed just great. The only changes I have made to the bike are Four. 1) I have added an extremely comfortable Nashbar Chrome Moly saddle with gel top (Trek Saddles are not very good) 2) I had the dealer trade out the stem for a higher rise stem to get the handle bars up about ¾” from stock. (much more comfortable for me). 3) I have changed the tires to Hutchinson Excel Kevlar 700X23 tires. These are much more flat resistant and handle better than the original Bontragers. 4) I added the Shimano flight deck computer which is extremely convenient and controlled by the buttons of the brake hoods. 2002 Fuji Team aluminum frame and Ouzo Comp fork. In great condition, ready to build up. Has about 2,500 miles on it. Rode a lot like steel to me, not a harsh aluminum ride at all, and it's really, really light. Will ship from San Francisco.
Specialized S-Works E5 aluminum frame, size 56cm (56.5cm tt - full geometry can be found on www.specialized.com) Specialized C4 full carbon fork Campagnolo Chrorus 10s Ergo levers, derailleurs, cassette and brakes FSA Carbon Pro ISIS crankset, Truvativ ISIS bottom bracket FSA RD-400 wheelset Specialized seatpost, stem and handlebars Selle Italia Flite saddle New Ritchey tires History: I built up this bike in 2004. It's been ridden regularly and raced occasionally, but never crashed. The bike has received regular cleaning and maintenance work so the frame, fork and components are in fantastic condition. Rear tire has less than 100 miles on it; front tire is brand new. Light, stiff and surprisingly compliant, it's an aboslutely wonderful bike for boosting your fitness, training or racing. Unfortunately, $$ circumstances force me to sell this. Shipping costs to be paid by buyer. Pedals not included.
I have a Large Argon 18 Mercury for sale. I'm selling a bike with a new frame and used components because the original frame was damaged last fall during shipping. While waiting for the new frame, I purchased a different bike and I am now looking to sell the Argon. Because I am not the best mechanic, I had the new bike professionally built. I had the steerer tube of the new fork cut long so there is plenty of room for adjusting the front end height. The new frame has never been ridden.
